ESID 2024 will once again bring together the global primary immunodeficiency (PID) community. Together we will further the knowledge in the field by shaping a high-quality educational programme and fostering indispensable cooperation among all those involved in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of PIDs.

We are delighted to invite you to the 21st biennial ESID Meeting to be held 16-19 October 2024, in Marseille, France.
The theme for the meeting will be “Human Inborn Errors of Immunity: An Expanding Universe”.
The local and international scientific committees will gather an amazing programme to make this event exceptional.
The ESID 2024 meeting in Marseille will cover the latest most exciting discoveries in basic and clinical science covering our expanding field, bringing together internationally renowned scientists and clinicians to present and discuss major and exciting developments in diagnosis, clinical management, genetics, immunobiology of inborn errors of immunity, through keynote lectures, symposia, educational workshops, interactive sessions, poster presentations, and meet-the-expert sessions.
As usual, the first day of the meeting will be dedicated to our highly appreciated educational programme with further sessions throughout the meeting with outstanding lecturers bringing high quality educational lectures and interactive sessions which will be of great benefit to students, trainees and established clinicians and scientists with practical and relevant up-date current insights into pathogenesis, recognition and management of inborn errors of immunity.

OUVERTURE DES CANDIDATURES MARIH POUR l’ESID 2024
A l’occasion du « 21st Biennal meeting of the european society for immunodeficiencies » de l’ESID (16 au 19 octobre 2024 à Marseille, France), la filière de santé Maladies Rares Immuno-Hématologiques « MaRIH » offre la possibilité à 3 internes (en hématologie, médecine interne et pédiatrie) de participer au congrès de l’ESID en présentiel. Ils auront pour mission d’interviewer les médecins experts des centres de référence sur les présentations (écrites ou orales) « phares » portant sur les maladies rares immuno-hématologiques.
Les candidatures sont ouvertes du lundi 25 mars au dimanche 16 juin 2024 à minuit, en envoyant CV et lettre de motivation par email à contact@marih.fr.
CONDITIONS
Etre interne au moment de l’ESID dans un service d’hématologie, d’immunologie, de médecine interne ou de pédiatrie (orienté immuno-hématologie). Seront retenus au maximum quatre internes en fonction de la qualité des dossiers.
PIECES OBLIGATOIRES A FOURNIR
- Curriculum vitae comprenant vos publications orales et/ou écrites ;
- Lettre de motivation;
- En précisant si des abstracts ont été soumis à l’ESID 2024.
MISSION
Repérer l’ensemble des présentations orales et écrites traitant des maladies rares de la filière. Les présentations « phares » seront sélectionnées par les médecins experts des centres de référence.
Participer aux interviews des experts français sur les présentations pendant le congrès (reportages vidéo de 5min avec un cameraman).
OBJECTIFS
- Former les internes aux maladies rares immuno-hématologiques
- Informer les internes et médecins n’ayant pas pu assisté au congrès.
SELECTION DES DOSSIERS
- Ouverture aux candidatures : Lundi 25 mars 2024
- Fermeture des candidatures : Dimanche 16 juin 2024 à minuit
- Délibérations du Comité de pilotage MaRIH : 28 juin 2024.
PRISE EN CHARGE DES CANDIDATS PAR LA FILIERE
La filière prendra directement en charge :
- L’inscription au congrès ;
- Les billets de train/avion A/R France;
- Les nuits d’hôtel à Marseille ;
Les billets de transports en commun, taxi, frais de repas et autres seront à la charge des internes. Aucun remboursement ne pourra être fait.
